Also, really great song! Its really feels speedy! like were traveling through stars at warp speed.! it all flows really well! I think the synth at 1:52 could've done without the (i think its either a flanger or a) phaser. It fells a little odd, and somewhat out of place.
Overall though, really good!
It's actually a formant filter on serum, and the "HUGE SYNTH!!" is a superset with a bunch of layers that I also made in serum xD thanks for the review dude!!
chill little guitar tune. pretty good. I would recommend maybe switching up the drum pattern every 4 or 8. it really makes an impact in the final product.
I agree; thanks for pointing that out, I was mainly focusing on chords this time around, and slacked off a bit on the rest, but I'm hoping to have a solidified, unified, well-rounded song by Carbon. ;)
Ok. Have to write a review on this.
-First of all, this was uploaded on my birthday, so instant random points.
-Great opening, very ambiatic, and the little sequencer in the BG is amazing!
-Drop 1 is great, you can hear the light dubstep elements but i love how you let the synth take the lead first! and the addition of the hi hat in the 2nd half gets the fucking heads moving!
-Drop 2 is great, a little on the odd side, and the phaser bass is a bit odd sounding here, but still really good. the piano breaks are brilliant! recycle of the very beginning right before i very well done!
-Drop 3 is my 2nd fav drop you've made (2nd only to Event Horizon's 1st Drop). The drop is all over the place with different basses, and I love it. Feels like two asteroids just hit and were seeing all the debree shatter planets! The subtle but impactful changes between hlaf 1 and half 2 are amazing! they are so small, yet so noticable!
Overall an AMAZING bassy kick ass song! god job X! you have truly impacted Music as a whole!

I like the chip-like synth in this sounds! it goes well with the flow of the rest of the song! There are a few less good parts, but it's pretty good, especially for a track with a half year skip in it.

Such a good song! the beginning is pretty bad, generic snare and hi-hat/ride (i cant tell) but after that its great!!!! Sampling is well done too!

This song is SO GOOD! The little bass wobs are so simplistic, along with the drum pattern gets my head moving IMMEDIATELY. The sampling feels like it fits right in with the song too. The soundtrack-y parts are ominous feeling as well, and I love when a track gives me a detailed feeling. The chants really help the drop too. They make it feel more exciting. Great song, dude! 5/5 and one of my favorites.
